Welcome. Here's what this program is, what it isn't, and how we'll create a safe and productive learning environment together.
Participant Agreement
By joining the Surviving to Thriving Membership, purchasing a course, participating in a program, or using ST:AR Model materials, you agree to the following:
The purpose of this program is to help participants better observe their own patterns. It is not intended to analyze, diagnose, or change other people.
Participants remain solely responsible for decisions regarding relationships, employment, finances, medical care, legal matters, and other significant life choices.
Is this a good fit?
The ST:AR Model is designed for adults who wish to explore patterns of adaptation through education, reflection, and guided practice.
It is not intended for crisis intervention or as a substitute for psychotherapy or medical care. If you are currently experiencing significant psychological distress, thoughts of self-harm, active addiction, domestic violence, or another situation requiring immediate professional support, this program is unlikely to be the appropriate first step.
Work at Your Own Pace
Some concepts or exercises may bring awareness to difficult memories or emotions.
You are encouraged to work at a pace that feels appropriate for you. Taking breaks, slowing down, or choosing not to participate in a particular exercise is completely acceptable.
Role of the Facilitator
The facilitator's role is to teach the ST:AR framework, guide educational discussions, and maintain a respectful learning environment.
The facilitator does not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis counseling, legal advice, or individualized treatment.
