You do not need to be on camera or speak. Participation happens through live chat, and you are welcome to engage as much or as little as you like.

When it happens

All sessions are replayable for one month for members who are unable to attend live.

Why The Practice Repeats

You can begin at any point in the cycle, there is no "right" place to start.

Unlike a traditional course designed to be completed once, Guided Practice follows a repeating cycle of 14 sessions.
The repetition is intentional.

Each time you return to a State, you'll likely see it differently.
As your perception changes, new patterns, insights, and opportunities for release often become visible that weren't before.

The goal isn't to race through new information or "finish" the model.
It's to deepen your understanding through repeated recognition, guided practice, and real-world application over time.

Like learning a language or playing an instrument, meaningful change comes through returning to the fundamentals again and again, not from constantly consuming something new.

Whether you complete the cycle once or many times, you're free to move at your own pace.
There is no pressure to keep up or master everything immediately.

The practice is designed to remain spacious rather than rushed, allowing recognition, release, and thriving to deepen naturally over time.

Each cycle is different because you are changing, growing, and dynamic person.

  • urgency

  • pressure

  • FOMO

  • overload

  • endless engagement

  • productivity culture

  • emotional intensity

  • performative growth

  • constant self-improvement

  • pressure to keep up

  • forced vulnerability

Real-World Applications

Guided Practice applies the ST:AR Model to real-life situations chosen by participants, with more than 100 relationship, workplace, family, spiritual, emotional, and life scenarios available.

Participation Is Through Guided Chat Discussion

There is no expectation to speak, share, or appear on camera.

Guided sessions are intentionally designed around live text discussion rather than participant cameras or microphones.

This creates a calm, low-pressure environment where you can focus on learning, reflection, and personal growth without feeling like you're on stage.

The only person on camera is the session guide. Participants can ask questions, share insights, and interact throughout each session using the chat.

You're welcome to participate as much or as little as you'd like.

Some people actively engage in the discussion, while others prefer to observe, reflect, and recognize their own patterns as the session unfolds and both are valuable ways to learn.

The goal is to create a space that feels safe, thoughtful, practical, and welcoming so you can focus on the work of moving from survival toward thriving.

One membership includes up to two people from the same household.

Hi, I’m Sam.

I created the ST:AR Model after years of exploring a simple question:

Why do we sometimes thrive, and other times feel trapped in patterns of survival?

Along the way, I began noticing that the same underlying states seemed to shape how we think, relate, respond to adversity, and experience everyday life.

Over time, those observations became the framework you'll explore here.

The Guided Practice is where the model comes to life.

Together we'll explore one Thrive and Survive State pair at a time through guided assessment, teaching, practical exercises, and real-world application.

The sessions are relaxed, thoughtful, and designed to help you recognize your own patterns and experience meaningful shifts toward thriving.

Whether you're just beginning or returning for another cycle, I'm glad you're here.

I look forward to exploring the journey with you.
